CRUISE DESTINATION
Grenada
THE QUICK READ
What Grenada adds to a cruise
Grenada combines a beautiful but steep harbor capital with spice history, waterfalls, beaches, and a mountainous interior. The most satisfying day usually pairs one inland experience with either St. George's or a beach.

CRUISE PORT
St. George’s
A steep, scenic harbor city offering spice history, beaches, waterfalls, and island tours.
Make this port day work
The cruise terminal is beside the steep capital. Grand Anse is about 15–25 minutes by road or seasonal water taxi; interior waterfalls take longer.
Walk the harbor and market, or arrange a round-trip taxi to Grand Anse with a backup road return.
Use a tour for waterfalls, spice estates, rum, or a north-island circuit where the roads and interpretation are the point.
Leave Grand Anse 90 minutes early and interior or northern attractions about two hours early.
PRACTICAL ADVICE
Plan the day before leaving home
Walk St. George's with intention
The harbor and market are close but steep. Use the town for food and atmosphere rather than treating it as a shopping corridor.
Pair, do not pile
One waterfall or spice stop plus Grand Anse works; an entire-island circuit often produces short stops and a long ride.
Return from Grand Anse early
Water taxis can be convenient when operating, but queues and weather require a backup road plan.

FINAL CHECK
Before committing to the day
- Confirm the exact berth. The destination name may conceal a remote facility, tender, or different side of the island.
- Calculate usable time.Subtract tendering, transfers, security, and a safe return margin from the published port call.
- Reserve what can sell out.Small boats, limited vehicles, timed admissions, and specialist guides deserve priority.
- Keep the return under your control.Save meeting details offline and know the backup transportation before moving away from the port.
